CANCEL YOUR PREMIUM CABLE CHANNELS
You can live without the movie channels when times get tough. Especially when you consider the fact that half the shows that likely got you hooked are no longer airing!
I got HBO for Sex in the City and The Sopranos, two series’ that aren’t even on anymore! Then I got Showtime for Dexter but after several months the "season" ended. Ugh. Needless to say, between Hulu and my subscription to Netflix, I already have all the entertainment I need.
Save yourself upwards of $45 a month! Or, if you realllly can’t fathom parting with those extra goody channels, at least consolidate your internet and phone service under your cable provider (or threaten to switch providers!) so you get some savings in collapsing your services.
