Personal Hygiene Gets Creative: Tip-of-the-Day #14

If you’ve had your bikini line, underarms and/or legs waxed at the start of every spring break, summer holiday or impromptu trip to the shore, now is your time to get creative and resourceful.

I started waxing my own bikini line long before this recent economic downturn. I found a totally natural product on the market called Nad’s. It’s an Australian creation, all natural ingredients, doesn't require heating and comes preloaded with applicator and removal strips. It's pretty ingenious actually and makes waxing so much more affordable when you're hitting more than one spot (i.e., upper lip, underarms and bikini line!).

You’ll be saving yourself an expensive appointment with your, ahem, stylist, and if you’re like me, it’s somewhat fascinating to remove your own unwanted hair. I actually use an old apron instead of the cloth strips provided because I can take more off in one swoop and then when I'm done I throw the apron right in the washer with the other towels and dirty linens. Just try it – I’m pretty sure you’ll like it.
