DITCH SPENDY MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS
I'll admit that I love People Magazine. And that's NOT a cheap rag either (I pay over a hundred bucks a year for it). I knew giving it up made sense in this economy, but I was worried I wouldn't get the same satisfaction and genuine R & R from other sources of celebrity gossip. I worried needlessly!
US Magazine has the exact same content as People and it's 1/3 the price. Start there. If you want to scale back even further, get your dirt online!
Dlisted.com and PerezHilton.com are two favs. Not only can you get your updates more regularly (like incrementally throughout the day, every day) but you are also privy to photos that mainstream pubs can't always put out there; half-naked celebs, celebs looking like crap after a long night of boozing, celebs cheating on celebs and more.
Seems like a pretty simple way to bring down the cost of your entertainment right now, and this is coming from someone who lives for Friday's mail.
