Mooch Much? Now's the Time: Tip-of-the-Day #45

LET GENEROUS FRIENDS PICK UP THE TAB THIS TIME

You may be used to picking up the tab when out on the town, or going dutch at the very least, but if someone offers to pick it up next time around, let them!

Everyone gets down on their luck at one point in life or another – you know you’ve taken a friend to lunch or dinner on your dime, so let them do the same for you!

There’s no pride lost in letting someone else take care of you for once. I’m not suggesting you go hog wild and order the lobster when you know the meal is covered, but order normally and be a gracious recipient to a kind offer.

Those saved dollars will add up!

Suggestion: Always send a handwritten thank you note when someone graciously pays for your meal - email is not personal enough in this situation.
