Avoid Boredom Binges: Tip-of-the-Day #40


If you’re at home more (due to unemployment or otherwise) don’t eat out of boredom.

It’s all too easy to find yourself wandering into the kitchen for a snack because you have nothing better to do. But in effect you end up having to buy more food because you’re going through it faster!

Things you can do besides eat when you’re not hungry:
1. Groom (yourself or your pet)
2. Read a good book
3. Catch up on your recorded TV shows
4. Watch your Netflix movies
5. Call a friend
6. Look into getting a job
7. Make something (jewelry, a photo calendar, etc.)

You’ll save money on groceries and you'll save calories from unnecessary food intake!
