PICK YOUR MANI/PEDI SERVICE BY SEASON
In the winter, does anyone really see your feet? I would imagine that unless you live in Florida or Orange County, you are likely wearing black boots through March. That said, why bother getting costly pedicures when the only one appreciating them is your rubber ducky? Skip the pedi and just tackle your hands!
Conversely, in the summer when you are wearing revealing sandals, get your toes cared for and skip your hands. Keeping fingernails natural in the summer is perfectly acceptable and by choosing just one set of digits (either fingers or toes) you’re saving yourself at least $10 per visit to the salon on average.
Note: if you really feel much sexier with both hands and feet manicured at all times, enlist a girlfriend and paint each other’s nails for free!
