SELL YOUR OWN HAIR!
Did you know that you can sell your hair so that someone can have a wig made from it? It’s true.
Some general things to know if you're considering doing this:
1. You'll need to leave your hair untreated (no dye, perm, or bleach)
2. You will have to grow your hair out (generally you need at least ten inches of hair to be able to make a sale)
3. Take good care of yourself and your hair – (healthy hair that shines fetches a better price in the open market..believe it or not, prenatal vitamins work wonders for hair, skin and nails and you don't need to be pregnant to take them!)
4. List and market your hair - HairWorks and TheHairTrader are two sites that specialize in hair trading classifieds
You can also donate your hair to Locks of Love, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer and other diseases.
